Scott Findlay is a family run business established in Edinburgh for over 30 years and founded on reputation and traditional values. Our business has steadily grown through hard work and reliability which is why we’re Edinburgh’s number one choice for heating and plumbing works.

Our team of plumbing and heating engineers are directly employed, hand-picked and trained to ensure that we always deliver the highest quality of workmanship. And, we never use gas sub-contractors* which means we can guarantee our high standards. 

We pride ourselves on the expert quality of our boiler repairs, heating installations and plumbing services. 

Scott has over 30 years industry experience as a fully qualified Gas engineer. He trained with his father's firm-the largest independent in Central Scotland.

He is passionate about attention to detail and doing things properly and this is something which is reflected in the quality of our engineer. 

Our senior engineers have worked at top level within the industry which puts them in the best position to carry out expert, effective repairs and installations. It also allows them to pass this knowledge on to the whole team as the business continues to grow. 

Committed to excellence, we were extremely proud in 2017 to become only the second company in Edinburgh to be awarded the prestigious Worcester Bosch Diamond Installer status-their highest level of Accredited Installer.

*We are currently employing an ex staff member and a former Scottish Gas manager on a part time sub contractor basis. As they are both well known to us we are fully confident that they meets our high standards.

• All our work is carried out to the highest standards and comes with a minimum 12 months parts and labour guarantee. 

To ensure that we are constantly up to date with Gas Safe regulations and manufacturer's technological developments, we regularly hold onsite gas safety training and our engineers attend Worcester training annually. 

We follow quality control and installation procedures set out by the Government’s Department of Energy and Climate Change. 

As you'd expect, Scott Findlay holds £10m employers’ liability and £2m public liability insurance. This means you and your home are protected in the unlikely event of an accident.
