At Scott Findlay, we’re always looking to the future, ensuring our customers benefit from the latest advancements in service and technology as we continue to grow. As part of our commitment to innovation, we’re now focusing on renewable energy solutions.
Worcester Bosch has long been one of the most trusted names in home heating. At Scott Findlay, we exclusively install new gas boilers from Worcester Bosch because we have complete confidence in their quality, reliability, and advanced technology.
As we look towards a future focused on renewable energy, we’re pleased to see that Worcester Bosch is applying the same high standards to their heat pumps as they do to their boilers. To see this innovation first hand, we’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be visiting the Worcester Bosch factory in Aveiro, Portugal to observe their heat pump production process up close. We believe that to offer the best service to our customers, it’s vital that we fully understand the products we’re installing. From performance and efficiency to installation techniques and maintenance, this trip is all about getting hands-on with the latest in renewable heating systems.
This visit marks a significant step as we prepare to expand our services to include the installation of air source heat pumps – a key move towards greener, more sustainable home heating for customers across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
Heat pumps are an exciting addition to the UK home heating landscape, offering low-carbon, highly efficient alternatives to traditional gas boilers. With government incentives available right now (the Scottish Government is currently offering grants of up to £7,500 to homeowners who install a heat pump system that provides 100% of their heating and hot water) and growing awareness around climate change, we know more and more homeowners are looking for cleaner ways to heat their homes. We want to be ready to support that shift with the same level of service and expertise our customers already know and trust.
We’ll be sharing more about what we learn in Portugal – so stay tuned for updates from our trip. And if you’re curious about how heat pumps work or whether they’re right for your home, we’re always happy to have a chat.
